In 2000, I started taking watercolor classes with my mom. I had the luxury then of working part time, and we took classes together every friday for about 2 years. It was such a special time for me. Not only because I was creating, but time like that with my mom was a treasure beyond anything I can describe...but then full time work and mom's move to another state ended that stage. Life moved on and so did my painting - on to nothing, that is! I would paint here and there, but I struggled to find the drive again.
Then, In 2013 I lost my mom to cancer, and the call to return to watercolor was not only about her spirit urging me back to my creative self, but about claiming those moments with her again. I hope you enjoy my work, it is something i am so grateful to be able to share with you!
